RUN FAR AND FAST! My wife and I recently closed on a property that had a Redfin agent as the seller's agent. I have NEVER had such a difficult time with purchasing a property. The seller's agent was unresponsive, would never reply to phone calls, text messages, or emails. All documents were delayed, the contract took 5 days before it even made it to the seller, and option period was put off until 2hrs before option ended! We had no time to even negotiate terms because the agent took so long to get the docs to her client. We were promised gas would be turned on prior to our home inspection and when the inspector arrived, NO GAS! Gas wasn't turned on until AFTER option period ended and our inspector had to go back and test all appliances. Save yourself the headache and stress. If you are looking to purchase a property and the agent is working with Redfin, take the loss and look elsewhere. If that home isn't your forever home, in the perfect location, and fully move-in ready, DO NOT EVEN BOTHER.

TOWANA GREEN and ALLISON BIBBEE are the two names you need to know if you’re looking to purchase a home in the Austin area, I hired Miss Green as my agent well looking to purchase a home recently, The experience could not have been better! All of her recommendations referrals and guidance was spot on, she is truly an amazing real estate agent understanding and kind :-) Miss Bibbee is definitely the glue behind the scenes that hold the deal together incredibly professional prompt knowledgeable and just flat out awesome :-) Thank you all so much for making this is experience amazing I will be recommending everyone I know to Redfin !!!!!!!!!!!

Elizabeth Albeita, the seller's agent made the transaction very difficult. We were the homebuyers and I couldn't help but feel bad for the sellers for being stuck with such a bad sellers agent. She put us and the sellers thru the wringer and stressed everyone out with mal-informed decisions and unnecessary threats. First, she listed the property under-value. Then when it didn't sell she listed over-value. When we bid on the house for the asking price and the appraisal came in lower, she blatantly accused us (buyers) of playing her when we offered the appraisal value. Then, after being told that we would be a day late on closing almost 5 days in advance, she threatened us with a breach of contract. At the same time, she told her clients (sellers) to show up on original closing day at the title office and made them drive 20 miles each way for nothing. She stood them up. Throughout the transaction, she sent a barrage of rude emails and texts of a threatening demeanor. I cannot stress how badly everyone was treated in this deal. I would not recommend Redfin to anyone and much less Elizabeth Albeita. The incentives for these people to do their job are frankly not there. If I had to do it all over again, I'd avoid any Redfin property.

I was interested in a home and was not using a buyer’s broker. The seller was represented by Redfin. When Redfin learned I didn’t have an agent, they tried to pressure me into signing on with a Redfin buyer’s broker. When I refused, and was ready to submit an offer on the home, they raised the price 10,000. When I asked why, they refused to tell me. The agent told me the seller raised it while we were negotiating but gave no reason.

Realtor from seller Nate Ortiz is not professional. He don't sign \Release of Earnest Money\ for almost 3 week and I can't get my earnest money back.
